We spent our last day in Iowa at the Iowa State Fair. We have had a long 5 days, and ending it with a trip to the fair, only to hop on a plane immediately after, may end up being a huge mistake. I’m tired and I know the kids are, but we can’t say that we didn’t make the most of our time.

You missed Obama by about three hours. As we were leaving the kids got to see secret service men up close with their sniffing dogs. whew, what a day!
Damn! Actually, that probably worked out better since we had to high tail it back to your house to get Rory’s blanket.

Nice to see you are commenting so you don’t meet the same fate as your brother! I am definitely still recovering. We got home last night at 12:30 and of course, Rory was up at 6:30.
