Last night’s moon phenomenon seemed to bring out the best in people and it certainly had nothing to do with it being Cinco de Mayo.  We held off on our Cinco de Mayo celebrating until Seis de Mayo and I think it was probably a good call on our part.

Last night we did check out the moon that was supposed to be bigger and brighter than ever.

I also had some friends send me a picture of a full moon, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the same moon I was looking at.  Last I checked, the moon wasn’t hairy.  Who doesn’t like receiving a hairy ass pic text to let you know they’re thinking of you?  I’m keeping that all for myself, though.

Today we headed down to Old Town to check out their Seis de Mayo scene.  Rory got a second try on the ponies.  His first attempt was over Christmas and the little pony shuttered right after he got on it and it scared the shit out of him.

All in all, a great day and I ate my weight in salt water taffy.
